Color Odyssey is the project we created for the video scenography of the Etro Uomo Spring/Summer 2015 fashion show by Kean Etro, inspired by the motto “We are what we eat” in honor of Expo Milano 2015.
Starting from photographs of the table settings imagined by Kean – with vegetables, shellfish, fruit, and fish – we designed and animated in 3D imaginary cities that transformed food into visionary landscapes. The images, crafted in perfect Streamcolors style, gave life to an immersive and vibrant scenography, while the designer reinterpreted the same elements in the prints of the garments. The visual journey began with a plate from the Etro Home collection and evolved into elegant table settings, rich in colors and gastronomic details.
Enhancing the multisensory experience, the live performance of the international duo Hang Massive accompanied the audience with the hypnotic sound of their hang drums.
Color Odyssey was selected as a finalist at the Milan Fashion Film Festival (Piccolo Teatro – September 2015) and was chosen among the ten international videos featured in the “New Fashion Vocabulary” exhibition at the Triennale Museum in Milan.
